EEM President at the World Mining Congress

Paul MacLean, President of EEM, chaired a session on Corporate Social Responsability (CSR) and Social Performance Case Studies at the World Mining Congress in Montreal in August.   In the session, Dr Hevina Dashwood, Associate Professor at Brock University presented a paper on CSR Adoption in the Global Mining Industry: Explaining Convergence and Diversity, and Dr Frederick Bird, Professor at the University of Waterloo, discussed The Practice of Mining and Inclusive Wealth Development in Developing Countries.
